STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS return
to: PACKAGE PRICES: The special package prices are based on the Euro and are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations or changes in airfares (if applicable), hotel rates and government taxes. PAYMENTS: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is due at the time of confirmation of your reservation. Payment in full is due within 60 days of the booking confirmation. Reservations made after April 1st require payment-in-full at the time of the booking confirmation. Reservations are required by June 1, 2006. Payments will be accepted in the form of Visa, MasterCard, American Express, agency checks or certified cashiers checks. HOTELS: Reservations will be confirmed prior to your departure. It is recommended that Iberian Traveler be advised if you plan on arriving after 6:00 pm local time. NOT INCLUDED: Meals, unless specifically included in the selected package, laundry, tips, local or international telephone calls or any other item deemed to be of a personal nature. CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS
AND REFUNDS: Requests for refunds must be sent in
writing to Iberian Traveler not later than 30 days after the
completion of your package. Any changes made to a
reservation after the deposit has been received will be
subject to a 75 euro processing fee per booking, plus any
cancellation or change fees incurred by Iberian
Traveler. Changes made after the final payment has
been received will be subject to a 250 euro processing fee
plus any cancellation or change fees incurred by The Scarlet
Macaw.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS: It is the sole responsibility of the individual traveler to obtain the necessary travel documents, including a valid passport and visa. It is recommended that you check with the Spanish consulate to determine whether a visa or other travel documents are necessary prior to your departure. AIR TRANSPORTATION: Iberian Traveler can assist in arranging transatlantic flights on regularly scheduled carriers originating out of Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York / New Jersey and Miami, through it's selected agency, Travel House, Inc., in Seattle. (Saras@travelhouse.com). FUNDS PROTECTION PLAN: When Iberian Traveler receives your payments they will be deposited into an Escrow account at Bank of America, a BankAmerica Company. INSURANCE: Iberian Traveler recommends that you purchase trip cancellation insurance for your own protection. In addition, we strongly suggest purchasing Special Risk - Medical Expenses - Emergency Evacuation insurance and/or Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance, if you are not already covered. You can check our web site for additional information on SRI (Specialty Risk Insurance, Inc.), one of the insurers we recommend. RESPONSIBILITY: Iberian Traveler and/or it's agents act solely as booking agents for the hotels and any other special services in connection with the itineraries of individuals and group travelers. The Scarlet Macaw holds itself and/or it's agents free of any responsibility for any cause, in all matters connected with hotels, accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation, whether by air, bus motorcar, boat or any other means. Iberian Traveler and/or its agents will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any of the travelers belonging. Iberian Traveler reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of our group at any time. Baggage and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the owner. Iberian Traveler and its suppliers shall not be liable for any damage, loss, accident, injury, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to an act or default by any hotel, carrier, or other company or person providing service included in the itinerary. In addition, Iberian Traveler and/or it's agents accept no responsibility for any illness, theft, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government constraints, acts of war or terrorism, weather conditions, acts of God, defects in any vehicle or other method of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other courses beyond their control. RUNNER'S WAIVER: All clients attending the Fiesta de San Fermin in Pamplona are required to sign the standard runner's waiver at the time of their booking confirmation. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Iberian Traveler and/or it's agents shall not be responsible, or liable, for any injury, loss or damage, including, but not limited to, the encierro (the running of the bulls), delays or inconvenience, arising out of or in connection with any vehicle, act, omission, neglect, accident, error or default of any company or person engaged in providing hotel, restaurant, sightseeing, transportation or other services. Iberian Traveler and it's
agents shall not be responsible or liable for alterations of
the itinerary or arrangements, if such alterations become
advisable or necessary for the comfort or well being of any
client or for any reason whatsoever. The right is
reserved to withdraw any or all tours or portions thereof.
The sole and exclusive responsibility and liability of the
airline shall be in accordance with and as limited by the
contract of carriage in the passenger's ticket, the
applicable tariffs and provisions of the Warsaw Convention,
if applicable.
